What is your pets hotel policy in the UK?

At Ezestays, we don’t have a Hotel pet policy uk as pets are strictly not allowed, as we care about comfort and cleanliness and want to be an allergen-free property for our guests. On the contrary, if our guest has visual impairments we may accept guide dogs within a written request and notification in advance. If you need to be accompanied by a guide dog during your stay, please contact us. 

Are children allowed at your Margate Hotel Ezestay's?

Children over 12 are welcome to stay at the Old Town House as long as they’re accompanied by their parents. They will be charged as adults. 

What rooms are wheelchair and child friendly?

The ground floor rooms are accessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs. However none of the rooms have been modified to accommodate a wheelchair, children or those with a physical disability. 

What is your cancellation policy?

We require full pre-payment at the time of booking. Your rate does not include any incidental charges which you may incur during your stay and these are payable on departure or taken from the deposit.

To learn more about our cancellation policy, please refer to the one sent on your confirmation upon booking. To be eligible for a full refund, cancellations can only be made 7 days prior to your arrival date when booking directly with us (free cancellation booking). 

If you cancel after this period, you will retain the full charge for your stay. No refunds can be made to rooms booked under promotional rates or non-refundable bookings and offers. We strongly urge you to check the booking terms and conditions before securing your stage.

What are your damage terms & conditions?

If your room or the hotel are damaged during your stay, or if we find any missing items upon your departure, your credit/debit card will be charged. This includes damage or stains to our linen and soft furnishings. 

We also reserve the right to judge the level of acceptable noise and behaviour that can compromise the enjoyment of other guests. If the guest does not take reasonable action when we request it, we reserve the right to terminate the booking without liability for a refund or compensation. 

Can I smoke on the premises?

You cannot smoke or vape on our premises, it’s strictly forbidden. If found smoking or vaping on our premises, we reserve the right to charge your credit/debit card the amount equal to your room rate or depending on the circumstance up to £300.00.

I forgot to return my room key. What should I do?

Room keys that are not returned upon check-out or are lost are subject to a £10 fee per card.

Where can I store my luggage?

If you still want to explore after checking out of our Hotel Margate Kent, then we can help with your luggage storage. Unfortunately, since we don’t have a concierge service, or reception in our Old Town House for luggage, we recommend a neighboring shop: the King’s Emporium (2 minutes walk away). Luggage storage is  £5.00 until 17:00 pm. Call this number : 07769159400 to book in advance. 

Can you arrange help with transport / attractions / excursions?

No, we don’t offer transport arrangements. However, there are plenty of travel services within the Old Town and online.  

Do you have a noise policy?

Yes we have a strict noise policy, we’re not allowed to make any noise between 22:00 pm – 7:00 am. We care about the comfort of our guests and if we find anyone making too much noise they will be subjected to a fine or invited to leave. 

If you're looking at Margate old town map, how central is Ezestays?

Our property is located in the middle of Margate shops old town. It’s right in the center of the old town, the most  central place in Margate. Walk for three minutes and you’ll reach the main Margate beach, highstreets, main bars and restaurants. 

What are the public transport options in Margate?

Margate has a variety of options for public transport such as a high speed rail service connecting you to London, Stagecoach buses, Loop Bus and taxi services.

What are your check-in/check-out times?

Our check-in time is from 15:00, and check-out is 11:00 am. 

Do you have housekeeping?

Yes, we do have housekeeping. Our housekeeping services operate between 10:00 am-13:00 pm. If you require housekeeping service, please place the sign in your room to make up. If you wish not to be disturbed during this period, we will leave the amenities and any additional requests by the door. 

Although you're automated, do you have a contactable duty manager?

Yes, at EzeStays, we’re always accessible between 10:00 a.m. and 19:00 p.m. If an emergency arises, we will be contactable via phone and the property bell (24 hours). 

Do you have parking facilities?

As we are in the heart of the old town, where the Market happens and restaurants and bars, we don’t have parking on site. However, you can park your vehicle in many parking places nearby. Here are some of our recommendations: 

1- College Square, Hawley St, Margate CT9 1PR, United Kingdom (Park below the open floor level to park for 24h).  2 min walking – Please note: This Carpark opens from 10:00 am on sundays. And it will be closed on Bank holidays.

What is your privacy policy?

We strictly do not allow any parties, hen or stag dos at our property. If we find any, parties will be subject to a fine. A maximum of three parties can book online for any group stay. For any booking of more than two rooms, we class as a group and are subject to amended Terms & Conditions.

If a group of individuals have booked separately for the same day for instance a wedding or party, Ezestays reserves the right to amend/cancel these reservations and enforce group terms and conditions to those bookings.For group bookings (i.e. for more than two rooms) to be eligible for a full refund we need notice 30 days prior to arrival.
